I just found out today the program I work for is on the state chopping block along with another 1.6 million dollars of other adolescent programs. Not only is it scary for me personally, but every other professional person I have worked with or currently work with would be affected. Almost every job that is funded by the state for wayward teens would be cut and the only preventative help available would be through private insurance or medicade (and we all know how helpful those programs are when it comes to therapy). The bill is being brought to the governor and a final decision regarding our fate should come within the next 2 weeks. Please keep all of us in the industry in your thoughts and prayers.

it sucks.....keep me posted on yours...we are in the same boat here with some of our marriage stuff
So sorry Holly. I guess the legislators are counting on being able to skip a generation of responsible, tax-paying, wage earners. Keep us posted.
Yes, I will definitely pray for you. I don't understand that line of thinking AT ALL. Do people not realize the long term affects of such cuts? It will likely cost them more in the long run.
