Case’s latest milestone accomplishment is independently sitting up. As you can see he is sitting (and toppling) like a pro. Sitting has opened up a whole new world of play and he is really enjoying some of his toys now, especially his blinking ball and a little piano. I guess mommy needs to check out Toys-R-Us for some more big boy toys.
Playing with my blinking learning ball.

Baby's Peepers
I was just digging my baby's peepers and thought I'd share with a post. As you can see he is still smitten with his doggie blanket.

Tub Trivia
If your baby pees in the bath tub do you drain the water and start all over?

Absolutely Unequivocally Hates Peas
Go figure. I try to give Case delicious and nutritious first foods and he absolutely unequivocally hates them. Cody lets him lick a potato chip and suck on the end of a piece of beef jerky and he loves it. So much for developing healthy eating habits. Here is Case’s reaction while sampling peas. I may be biased but I think his reaction is the funniest thing I have ever seen. His head jerks and spasms leave me in stitches every time I watch it. Hope you take 2 minutes out of your day and enjoy a good laugh.

Hairy No More
Case got his first hair cut today. I know, I know, most kids don’t get their hair cut until they are at least 1 year old, but we have an especially hairy child on our hands. In fact to be completely honest, this isn’t his first haircut. I’ve already cut his hair twice. One time to get some of the strays out of his eyes (he literally had hair down to his eyeballs) and another time to clip off a mysterious mullet that appeared out of nowhere over night. Aside from the home hack jobs this was his first formal hair cut and from the looks of the pictures, he was feeling very handsome with his new do.
