North Pole

We went to the North Pole! Case visited his first kiddie amusement park while Grandma and Grandpa were visiting. He rode the carousel, watched singing mechanical elfs, ate a french fry and overall had a good time.

My first fair ride! By the end of the ride he was all smiles.

Puke Baby

Today while eating dinner Case puked on the food tray. My first thought was who is going to clean this up! He was just babbling away, then puke everywhere. I think he would have been fine, except the stunned look on my face must of scared him because he began to cry. The cry spurred me into action, but believe me folks I was grossed big time. This is the second time he has puked this week. The other time was in the bathtub while he simultaneously peed! Lets just say that bath was a wash and we had to start over.

I hear sometimes baby get upset tummies when they are teething because of the extra saliva they swallow. Stupid teeth. Poor little bugger is having a tough time teething. He shakes his head like a dog shaking a toy, bites at the air, fusses all the time and is just overall not a happy camper. Oh the days are long in our house. The days are long.

Reading is Fun

Reading is fun in this house. Both mommy and daddy like to read on a regular basis and it looks like the little man has taken in our footsteps. His favorite books are: the hungry caterpillar, gallop, hello bee, peek-a-boo and a singing nursery rhyme book. Here he is having fun amongst some of his favorite books.

Even the book basket is fun!

Drop it like its hot

My computer is on the fritz and is in the repair shop, so posting pictures will have to wait a couple weeks. Until then I thought I would just give a quick update. Case has discovered dropping things: dropping things off the changing table, dropping them off the high chair, dropping them off the couch, dropping them while you’re holding him. If Case is on an elevated surface and has something to throw it’s going over. I don’t mind the new game (yet) because I can just see his little brain working as he discovers and begins to understand a different aspect of life. He has also begun to discover the joy of splashing in the tub. I swear, I come out more wet than him. But again, I don’t mind. He has such a good time I just can’t dampen his spirits. As he gets older those sweet cuddly sleeping in your arms moments are fewer and fewer which is sad to let go of, but his active little boy discoveries are so much fun to watch and can’t help but enjoy every day with him.
