Homage to OSU

Here are the latest pics of our little man. These were by far the most successful of the portraits we have taken thus far and I firmly believe it was because grandma was at the photo shoot jumping up and down, quacking and clicking away.

Case was all smiles the entire time.

Paying homage to mommy and daddy’s alma mater, OSU.

What a cute little Cowboy!

We Miss You Grandma

Grandma came for a visit last week and Case and mommy loved every minute. Grandma got up in the mornings with Case so I could sleep in. She even cooked, swept and did dishes! Ahhhhh, heaven. I was a little worried about how Case would take to grandma visiting because he has apparently moved into the separation anxiety (more like panic attack) stage of development and can throw a royal tantrum if I’m not around. However a baby must know who his grandma is instinctually because he took to her without a moments hesitation and enjoyed her company the entire time. I think Case still looks for her to peek around the corner while he is taking a bath because he is constantly looking over my shoulder.

We had a belated Easter celebration once grandma showed up. Here he is with one of his Grandma's Easter presents. Its an Easter lamb, because he is a little lamb of God. I think he likes it.

We miss you grandma and are looking forward to coming home in May!

Out of Control!

I can’t control myself. Before Case was born I always talked about how 'less is more.' I didn’t want to be one of those parents whose house is completely over run with toys, so many toys that the child couldn’t possibly play with them all. However, now that Case his here, every time I go to the store I wind up purchasing some kind of toy, clothing, bottle, etc. I’m out of control! Is there any kind of support group for this obsession because I need help!

So it begins

So it begins. Bath time just got a whole lot more fun for Case since he found his bits and pieces. Who needs rubber duckies and floating hippos when he has an undercover toy only exposed long enough to enjoy during bath time? Raising a boy is a whole new adventure for mommy.

I'm cute no matter what I play with. Just adorable.

Seriously Cute

Here I am looking seriously cute in my Easter duds. I even have an Easter hat.

Look at what the easter bunny brought me!

Okay, so the candy is for mommy and daddy, but Case enjoyed the presentation.

I was the hit of church today. Everyone was ooing and cooing over how cute I am and I hammed it up by jumping up and down and smiling at everyone.

I hope everyone had a Happy Happy Easter!

Peek-A-Boo

Case is starting to really enjoy the age old game of Peek-A-Boo. We jazz up the game just a bit. I hide around corners and peek around saying Peek-A-Boo. Or I duck down behind the kitchen island and jump up saying Peek-A-Boo. Yesterday he even engaged in a game of Peek-A-Boo with a hand mirror. He was so cute I had to take a pic.

Here he is checking himself out. Peek-A-Boo, who's there?
Its me! Oh the crazy fun we have.
