Out of Control!

I can’t control myself. Before Case was born I always talked about how 'less is more.' I didn’t want to be one of those parents whose house is completely over run with toys, so many toys that the child couldn’t possibly play with them all. However, now that Case his here, every time I go to the store I wind up purchasing some kind of toy, clothing, bottle, etc. I’m out of control! Is there any kind of support group for this obsession because I need help!

I don't think there is a support group, but you can always talk to me! I am right there with you. I don't think I have bought a single thing for me since Cora was born except plants and the rest is all about her!

Ah, your compulsive baby-thing buying will subside when Case gets into things like cars and legos - you know, the stuff that HURTS when stepped on with bare feet. Right now everything is soft and cute... Hot Wheels... not so much.

HoJo, step away from the toy! LOL! All parents do it. Even the ones that say they won't. Although, I've got to go with Julie on the pain factor. Legos and Hot Wheels do hurt. :(

Case works hard every day to fufill your life with joy and meaning. He EARNS those toys, damnit. He is deserving of each and every one.

Continue buying in mass quantities. Take out a loan if you need to.
